Free weekend
The past 2 days have been busy with work.As I wrote earlier I really had a nice time in the Indiana State Forest recently.Nature[God's creation] seems to revive and cheer me.The time in the Nashville library was nice too as well as walking the main street at nite.As I looked in the shops and expensive restaurants i was reminded of prices steadily rising.Yesterday was my birthday.It was fine and I spent quality time with the Lord walking, praying and using a hymnal to sing and even just look at unfamiliar hymns. Although I cannot read music I definitely appreciate Christian prose and poetry.It would be nice if more churches would sing unfamiliar hymns for variety among the people.Among the medical personnel I was very touched and encouraged that many wished me a "Happy Birthday"I called some family members as well.
