Friday,April 22.I'm in the I-net cafe on base.We just had a huge rainstorm this evening.It was raining so hard that it came down in sheets with thunder and lightning.Beautiful to watch even as the setting sun broke through the clouds.It's dusk now but slightly light at almost 8:00pm.I checked out some Christian videos from the local Baptist church library and they were nice enough to play two tonite.Even as I write the animated video "Miracles of Love" is playing.I saw it for the first time just over 10 years ago in Riga,Latvia[Europe]with the Johnson family[Christian American friends].Before this video,"Pilgrim's Progress" was shown[about one hour,also animated].The English Baptist pastor wrote "Pilgrim's Progress." Excellent allegory re:the Christian life.Not much else to record except that life at the Army base is very routine.
