Free day
Today and tomorrow I have "free" but I am also trying to take care of the necessities of life and get organized for another work week.Recently I have been transferred to the Troop Medical Clinic where all soldier report for sick call and usually come there first for medical evaluation. There has been more medical processing so it's been nice to fill in back at Immunizations and help out there.Recently, there has been 12-13 hour days! Not much time for personal and also for much needed exercise. In fact even now I am rushed as I would like to relax the rest of the day at both the Edinburgh and Franklin libraries[and check out some videos too].Last weekend I went up to northern Indiana and stopped in Kokomo on the way for church.Alittle further was Grissom Air Force base with a nice museum and a number of historic planes/jets parked outside.A B-17 was there and that plane is special as my father was pilot of a B-17 while stationed in England in WWII.I continued north to Hyles-Anderson college and 1st Baptist of Hammond[staying till Mon.].Very nice time and welcome break from Army life.Speaking of the Army,on this day 21 years ago I enlisted in the US Army Reserve in my home town of Minneapolis,Minn.Must run as someone wants the computor.Such is Army life!
