Well,I hope and pray for a victorious and successful month that will in turn lead to others.
1.Rained today and this weekend.Much needed and welcome.
2.Army Reserve this past weekend went well.Gave the Gospel out a few times. Some interesting converstations.
3.Gregory has returned.I'll be seeing him tonite.I hope to discuss ways that Dad could have better care and a more active social life. It's sad,but it has become obvious that certain siblings in my family simply don't care about our Dad.It would appear that they would rather have him pass away and get their hands on his money for their greed. I would hope that this is not true;but evidence is to the contrary.I pray for Dad and our family.
4.I have renewed and increased prayer and took an encouraging prayer walk after lunch at OCB this pm.I walked and read God's Word near the Crystal Com Ctr. went to Osterhus before for some tracts. Also prayed in intercession for souls and God's people to evangelize.
O Lord,please answer my prayers! Neh.5:19;Dan.9:19

End of May
"David encouraged himself in the Lord..."[ISam30:6].
I need to do the same.If only I could claim the promises of God
in order to have my prayers answered! The sorrow and grief are
so terrible at times.
Not much news worth reporting.Just con't prayers and turning to
God.

Springtime!
Yes,it really is Spring! No more dread snow, ice and cold for several monthes. True,I should'nt dread it,but it gets so tiring after so long and it's hard to get out.
1.Here at Ft.Snelling PC lab again. My photos are finally up and so it makes my blog more personal.
2.Still studying EMT-B course materials. I need to pass the NREMT exam. Sadly, my problem is simply difficulty in concentrating and the depression/grief from my former family.
3.This past weekend was Army Reserve. It went fine and nice to be welcomed back. There was a suicide prevention dramatized video that was very effective.I thought of Cpt.Lee.
Ch. at Straightgate was great as usual. Pastor Roger Magnuson is such a fine Christian!
4.Yesterday,Stephanie and I took Dad to the Dr. at North Mem.Clinic. Dad has lost wt.and has pain in his body that might be arthritic. I hope and pray he will be better cared for.I enjoy so much to be with him.How I long for my own sons the same way!
Afterwards,we had a nice lunch at The Sunshine Factory in New Hope. Good company with Dad and Steph!

May4- a date I have remembered
13 years ago, vows were said on this date in Mpls,Minn. But those vows were broken. She only wanted her way and what she could get for herself. Now,for so many years I have endured hell on earth because of her. So many terrible things w/o number.I have'nt seen my sons in weeks. When I do see them it's only for an hour! I pray and will pray w/o ceasing for God's intervention!

Finishing up Medical course in Millington,NSA,TN.
This was a memorable 3 weeks of my life which I will not forget. God is definitely leading me back to serve Him in the ministry.I must answer His call by moving in that direction. I will be very busy preparing to get ready and then move. I am so grateful to the Lord for His peace!

February2009
Going thru deep trials and sorrows! I have so much grief. My God has been comforting and I praise and thank Him.
I am not sure where or how the Lord will lead but I know I must trust Him. I have tried to follow Psa.62:1,5 and others re:being quiet before the Lord, allowing Him to speak and then in turn bringing before God His promises[Lam.3:23-27]. Truly,I want to be blessed of the Lord and my family.
I could write many things now- for example,I lost my job[due largely because of the grief I'm going thru]-but I must just write that it is my desire to trust the Lord and put Him first.

January 2009
It's been a long time since I have posted and I have had difficulty transferring from a paid serving host to free Google Blogger.
At this time of writing I am in very great sorrow as I found out last month that Renee,my former wife,is in the terrible sin of adultery. My sons, ages 12&10 next month, are being exposed to this very serious sin.I wrote their mother another important letter and sent it to many people for prayer and consideration.I know for a fact that if she marries this profane, violent and unsaved man, she will regret it.I have given myself to prayer[Psa.109:4]and I believe by faith that this may be the beginning of the Lord's answer. I know it has been many years, but I have not given hope in God. I still love her and I love my sons. I am praying that God will give her that sound mind He has promised[IITim.1:7]and lead her back to Him in a mighty way. I pray for the man she lives with to go far away,to be struck with impotence[if necessary]and to be saved but still to be far away.I pray that God will take away this reproach of divorce from me by His power and leading. I pray for my sons to have their Dad-true Dad-with them every day.
These are bold prayers and if she sees these words she would probably scoff and mock at them. But I believe God will defend me and be my Shield and Defender[Psalms].
O my Lord I would pray that soon-even today- that you would bring her back to You!!!!!!!!
In Jesus Name[John14:13,14;16:23,24]I ask this.Amen

Mid-week
Wed.is here sooner[it seems] because of the 3 day wkend. The Spring showers have been refreshing these past few days with more for tonite.I love the rich greeness and clean, cool, clear air it brings! 1.With my sons last nite.It went better then last time but the main problem is their Mother's love for herself and the World[IJohn2:15-17].The boys have very little in the way of spiritual desires causing me to fear for their eternal souls.I pray to God they will be truly saved and live for the Lord.To die unsaved is too horrible to think about.2.Read more of the American Eagle squadrons in the UK during WWII[before US entry].Interesting.It was sad to learn of the many air deathes thru accidents, carelessness and plain showing off[buzzing airfields,etc.].I should be glad that my Dad taught me caution and set an example!3.NPR radio today interviewed Arthur Frommer. He wrote the best selling series,"Europe on Five Dollars a Day." Over the years the price has gone up.I think it's now about 75-100.00$ a day.I'm thankful that 31 years ago I did Europe on LESS than 5.00$ per day!Days are going well and blessed.I just want to be closer to God.

Memorial Day Weekend went fine.1.Relaxed Mon.a.m. and swam outside.2.Drove to Woodcrest pic-nic at nice park in Mounds View. After a couple hrs I drove to the SG church pic-nic at apark in Mahtomedi[near where the Magnusons live].Good timeand fellowship at both.I stayed at the park after they had allgone and took a prayer walk.It was close to 8:00pm when I left.3.Stopped at Dad's but he was over at Steph's.
This week will be shorter.Praying for God's help, protection and blessings.During the weekend I took time to meditate and pray for those who have sacrificed for our country. It's too late for those who have already died, but I am grateful for their sacrifice. At least I can pray for the living.

Well, thanks be to God this full week has ended. It's been tiring but endurable. The school here[where I am writing] has been a very nice place to work.As I get to know the people they have become friendlier. Most are not even regenerate and they often have better manners then those who are!1.Called Mrs.Campbell.Pastor seems to be really hurting re: his father's home-going.I plan to take them to dinner in Plymouth on May18.Then we plan to walk around Medicine Lake near-by.2.Saw Dad last nite.Talked w/ Steph. There's other things too,but no time for details.Hope to relax tonite w/ a swim and finish H.N.'s diary bookon the war years[1939-45].

Typical Day
The ISM -Int'l School of Minn- has been a nice place to work. It's enjoyable to meet interesting people and discuss travel, culture, etc.I'd love to talk about the Gospel but that would not be wise during working hrs. There are some born again Christians.I've enjoyed fellowship with Joel, who is a P.E.coach.1.Church was nice last nite. However, after the service I spoke with the head deacon re: some concerns I have.It did'nt go very well.2.Went home and read then retired.I thought of Luke11:5 & John14:13,14 as I knelt in prayer.Pastor Mark emphasized these verses during the service.3.Slept well, but often I wake at 0500 and can't sleep more.My alarm goes off at 0530 but I really should just rise at 0500.

Another Beautiful Spring Day!
Nights have been nice and cool while the days have been warm.1.Mon.nite visited Dad and watched,"America at the Crossroads"[PBS] with him.It was an excellent segment that deal with the rise of radical Islam.2.Enjoyed Tues off.Up early as usual, longer and fuller quiet time with God.Promises of God are so precious[Psa.119:49]3.Swam,sauna and gave myself a haircut trim with clippers[saves$].4.Drove to Plymouth Ctr,had a tuna sub w/strawberry shake and the went to Plymouth library to read, relax and then access my Army email[AKO].Later I called R's hse and talked to Peter but he was'nt coherent and he wanted me to listen to rock music[!].My precious sons are having the evils of the World influence their lives. R approves of this. What happened to the woman I knew who had Biblical convictions? In just 2 days will be our wedding anniversary. I doubt if she would even remember the date much less her vows.5.I tried to see my sons at 6:00pm but R would'nt answer the phone nor the door. All I can do is pray, trust God and continually look to Him.6.Visited Dad again, watched a docu on Isaac Newton and then went back to my condo at 8:00pm.7.Read more of Nicolson's diary on the war years.Very enlightening. This reminds me:The AMA reunion was last weekend and Col.Larry Nicholson was the featured speaker.A photo was sent of a the 2007 "Roller Rifles" and he was there in USMC uniform. He looked well and and happy. Turned in early. One more thing and very important:Early Tues a.m. during the nite as I slept, I had a horrible dream that began as a nightmare.I was driving what appeared to be an open canopy jeep on a high concrete ramp.I drove at moderate speed toward what I thought was a kind of exit but I could'nt see beyond. As I came over the edge I was horrified to find I had driven over the edge with nothing but air and a huge city-scene 100's of feet below me[!].I thought,"This is it!This is the price I pay for my habitual lack of attention!!!" But somehow,as the jeep cleared the edge it seem to float gently down as though it were a feather or a parachute and then I and the jeep very serenely decended into a parking place.I wonder what the dream meant and if perhaps the Lord was seeking to show me something as he did Jacob and Joseph? Any thoughts dear readers?

Typical Day
The ISM -Int'l School of Minn- has been a nice place to work.

New Week: May29-June1

Last day of April
I'm at the ISM School. It's a nice Monday with a forecast of rain.Tomorrow I have off.1.Van Gelderen mtgs went very well. The last nite John and I had a nice visit together.I encouraged him to keep standing for the truth.2.Weekend went fine with warm weather.R did not bring the boys Sat.nite.3.Straitgate church was very nice.Excellent msg from Luke19-"The Lord has need of you..." Pastor Magnuson is such a fine man.4.This a.m. I found out by e-newsletter that Maranatha Bapt.Bible College has chosen a new president,Dr.Chuck Phelps.I've heard him preach before many years ago.He was fine then, but I don't know how he stands now.I left a comment on the MBBC website to the effect that my prayers will be that he will stand for the TRUTH!5.This weekend I talked with a missionary to Eastern Europe at length. In summary, things have changed so much with the West's materialism and prosperity that has flooded in.I learned alot about current events over there.I really long for the ministry again.6.Finally,April has been a bad month for our troops in Iraq w/ over 100 killed.I must pray much more for them and for the Gospel to go out among the people in darkness in the Mideast.

Evangelist John Van Gelderen meetings this week
The nitely mtgs at Woodcrest B.C. have been really a blessing. This is the 3rd time I have heard him since '03.His wife,Mary Lynn,is a very gracious woman w/ a beautiful sing voice. Their son,John,Jr.[c.3yrs],is very nice too.I am especially pleased of how often John focuses on the victorious, fruit bearing life of the Christian.Last nite I prayed for Renee to come back to the Lord and to me.I also left a vm for her[calling from church, she knows the caller ID so she did'nt pick up the phone].How I pray she will honor her vows and live for Jesus!1.Day off yesterday.Went to get my oil changed at Jerry Khan's garage and drove to St.P w/ him to look at cars.2.VA hosp to apply again at HR.3.Ft.Snelling to check my AKO and renew my pw.Exercised and showered.Picked up some stuff that was being recycled.4.Drove to mtgs and arrived in time for the offering. Also, I stopped briefly to see my dear Dad at St.T and intendedto visit again that nite but I was a bit tired. This a.m. it was cold-cool[window open]and so my cups of tea w/milkand honey taste even better! Dr.Magee is starting Deut. for his TTB radio ministry.Coming on at 0600 makes good timing for me.

New Week: April23-27
Just a few min.while I am at the ISM staff room-1.Weekend went OK,learned some things.2.Really enjoyed services on Sun.Pastor RJM did an excellent exposition of Luke16:1-14.The main exhortation was the importance of we as God's children to be faithful stewards.3.Health seems fine.4.Almost finished with a book by former WWII POW Sgt."Bob" Larsen. He's from Kenyon,MN and the book was published locally just under 10 yrs ago.He was part of the defense of PI and then survived the Bataan Death March.I've read several accounts before and his account meshes with the others, but it still causes me to pause think,be grateful and be determined to make wise decisions!

April 20-Pastor Dennis Campbell's Birthday!
Over 25 years ago I made a decision to put my faith and trust in Christ. It was largely because of Bro.Dennis'vision, conviction and obedience to the Lord that finally turned the key for me to decide to make it sure and DEFINITELY believe with a time and place. Now 25 plus years later I am so grieved at the lack of soul-winning/personal evangelism among so many Minn churches[MBA,PBBC and CBTS as well.I've written letters over the years, made calls and talked to people in leadership positions about my concerns.I've tried to do what I can.I just got off the phone with Dr.Lance Ketcham[Secretary of the MBA].His position is being eliminated.I don't know why but I am sure it's because of the strong stand he takes.Apparently, the MBA is hurting for $, but I can't believe they would be so hard up as to eliminate such a key position. I emailed Dr.Fred Moritz this a.m. a fairly forceful letter re: my views of the present compromises and what should be done.I pray he would take it to heart. What brought most of this on was an accumulation of things happening over the years.Recently,PBBC was in the news with 24/7 prayer mtgs just so the college would survive. If they had simply kept standards and kept students serving the Lord, especially personally evangelizing, they would not have had this problem! The same for the churches and seminary as well. If only there was something more I could do.Well, days are going by.I feel very tired from being on my feet so much.Meeting mmore people, practicing both French and Spanish and learning about current trends in Europe.Lord, please help me to shine for You!Matt.5:16

An Excellent Weekend at Ft.McCoy!
Had a wonderful time!1.Friday was a free day from ISM school but I had much to do to prepare from my humble home.At least I found time to swim and be refreshed.I had a terrible, anticipatory headache before going to Ft.Snelling to catch the bus[Tylonol helped abit].2.The day was beautiful, sunny and warm.I was glad for the Rx sunglasses the military provided.I parked my car and soon we were on our way in big, beautiful, comfortable motor-coaches to Ft.McCoy.Dean Marshall[fellow Christian] sat just ahead of me.He's a very nice, gentle man who loves the Lord and desires to see souls come to the Lord.We met last March in a chapel service as I was giving the plan of salvation to another soldier.3.Had a nice relaxing nap on the way. There was an unfortunate incident when I had to come forward in the bus and ask for a DVD to be stopped[it was a "comedian" telling dirty stories].Other then that it was a nice trip with the beautiful early Spring country-side rolling by.4.The mess hall served some great chow after we arrived and that evening I took a long walk to the base library[by the Rec.Ctr]I was disappointed that they got rid of all their lending books[!].All that was left was free books to take[mostly junk but I picked up a few good ones].They had pc's and looked up the FFF for awhile.Often interesting points made.5.Caught a ride back to the barracks and had a very good, restful sleep that nite[after prayers&Bible].6.Sat.was was super!I volunteered for CQ[guarding the HQ and checking the barracks area]with a couple other soldiers and so most of the day was spent blissfully reading, relaxing and enjoying the great free time my dear Uncle Sam provided me!7.Much of the weekend I had been devouring a large hard-cover book by Harold Nicolson[M.P.-Member of Parliament]that was his diary during WWII compiled by one of his sons.Very enlightening and interesting.A real window on Brit culture, particularly the upper class.8.Sunday the big APFT!Comment later.9.More free time and then load on the buses back for Ft.Snelling.We went back via Sparta,WI and then along I90 across the Missisippi via Winona, etc.Really enjoyed the scenery!10.Back safe at Ft.S then drove to SG ch.for the weekly Sun.PM Lord's Supper.Pastor M was visiting his son Peter at DukeU in NC so I decided to drive up to Woodcrest as I remembered that Don Stertz[founder of Couriers for Christ]was going to preach. It turned out to be an excellent, very edifying message! How I prayed and longed to be back in the ministry on the mission field! In fact, long after the service when most had gone home I came up to Don[I had'nt seen him in almost 11 years!]and we reacquainted ourselves and prayed together.Laura, his wife was there too. They were both sad to learn of Renee divorcing me.I have faith and am confident that the evil treachery that she has done God turn for good.Don and I prayed to that end. Finally, after church I stopped to visit Dad.

Winter in April
It's been a good month so far.The blast of recent snow was'nt so bad but I prefer to have things in better order. It seems when I was a kid that the weather was very orderly and the seasons always changed gradually. In the begining of April there was actually a record breaking high of 81!Now the last week has been snow and cold.Warmer weather is coming though.I am writing from the Int'l School in Eden Prairie[about 15 mi from my condo in Plymouth].It's very nice here. Most of the people are very gracious, cultured and friendly.I am desirous to learn more of their philosophy of edu.1.VA news[OK so far but need more physicals,etc.2.Getting alot of news regularly[reading and watching the news with Dad].3.Gave Mrs.Campbell 500.00$ for her trip to BJU in early April. She went with her younger sister for a music event. She met Dennis on campus about 45 years ago and after 2 years at BJU and transfering to a State U[scholarship],she had not returned after over 40 years!I was happy to help her.4.Army Reserve weekend at Ft.McCoy this weekend. At least we'll be riding buses there and save auto expenses! The last time I was at McCoy[Nov'06]was an unpleasant experiance.5.Prices steadily rising; I am longing to go back on active duty again.I am longing for action and exciting things. So much more-Oh,God please help me!Psa.40:13

Welcome Friday
I'm looking forward to the weekend.Cold and rainy the last few days, but that's no problem for me!1.Yesterday, it was announced that a senior student at this school died while at home doing something unwise. He was from Europe;popular and well liked here at the school.Tragic and sad as all deathes really are.2.Wed.nite service at Straitgate ch., was the last of the series,"Heroes of Faith," with an authentic Liberian dinner following.Very nice.3.Last nite I visited my Dad and we watched a PBS program on the "B-17 Flying Fortress." That was enjoyable too and I am always proud that Dad was a lead pilot in a B-17 during WWII. After that,I rested and read the Bible in Dad's living room and then a color documentary came on PBS again on the Pacific campaign during WWII.The later was made by a French company using combat camera footage.I note some historical mistakes during the narration, but overall, it was very good.Really enjoyable to spend time with my Dad!4.Today and this weekend I just hope to spend quality time with my Heavenly Father and be productive!

Marching out of March!
My diary can be so haphazard at times.I wanted to write many more entries for March but time slipped away from me.It's a beautiful Tuesday here in the sw suburbs of Mpls.I'm doing security at a private school. It's very nice and for the first time in 7 mos I am not working nights nor am I working weekends!1]Feb/Mar have been OK-worked many Sundays as usual and so missed services at church.2]Weather is much warmer-yesterday broke a record in MN with 81 degrees!3]Almost thru Gen. Eisenhower's WWII memoir,"Crusade in Europe." It's excellent and causes me to appreciate the man even more.4]Just enjoying the natural beauty[sunshine,fresh-air outdoors].Exercise and swimming has been nice too. That's all for now, except to say that the Lord is always faithful and I long to keep growing in Him[IIPeter3:18].

New Year-2007
I've been so busy and I wanted to wait until I rec'd a new server[BaptistHost.net].I also was'nt sure if my old login would work.1.Holidays were fine.Mostly looking back to happy, nostalgic times.2.Working steady and finally getting 40 hrs per week.Still steadily losing savings.Must keep praying for better work and more hrs.3.Weather was extremely cold for about 40 days[well below zero].Caused alot of car probs and expensive repairs.God carried me thru. There can be beauty in the cold weather and it made me appreciate the warmth of being inside even more!My neighbor, Larry Race was such a big help to me with my car and he even loaned me his for 3 days.I'm so glad we meet as he is born again[w/ his wife Cindy]and living for the Lord.He even has an earned Dr.in theology! I'm looking forward to more fellowship with him.4.Usual reading. My devotions in the a.m. have been so precious and even today in the much fairer weather I took a prayer walk in the cemetary in Crystal near where my Dad's Dr's office was.The sun was so nice and warm and the snow was melting. At a bookstore,I came across a hard-cover copy of Martin Gray's book,"For Those I Loved." One of the best books I have read in my life.Martin is a Polish-Jew who personally tells the story of so many amazing survivalsduring the Holocaust of WWII.He became a millionaire after emigrating to the USA;then in turn settled in France with his family.Tragically, his beloved wife and 4 young children were killed in a fire in 1970.During the years prior to that horrible tragedy, his wife had encouraged him to write his story. It was probably her and the children's death that prompted him.I encouraged Renee to read this book too during the first year of our marriage. She was as profoundly impressed as I.5.There's much more.I've been catching up on the FFF[reading posts].Often I can learn some interesting things.Still praying every day regularly for my family to be re-united.

November 2006
Looks like I'll have to summarize this month in this one entry-1.Weather has been fine and record warm for this time of year.2.Time with my sons is precious, but the sorrow of seeing them influenced by the World and loving the World is so painful. All I can do is pray God's intervention.3.I am concerned about my physical energy going down and various aches and pains increasing.4.My request to be transferred to downtown Mpls was approved.I have been at "Thrivant Lutheran" now for most of this month. It used to be called "Lutheran Brotherhood."It's a 17 story bldg that has a unique architectural shape and nice interior.I only have 32hrs per week though.5.Still hoping for better work.6.Spending time with my Dad and Stephanie and Joe too.7.Church at both locations has been fine.Nice Thanksgiving Wed.nite service with short testimonies.I thanked God for His gift of salvation[Rom.6:23].In just one month it will 25 years of being God's child!I know that I am saved because what God has promised is true and He can never lie.I thank God for John6:37,47;10:27,28;Eph.2:8,9 and so many more!Closing-I am at Ft.Snelling on a rainy day.I spend much time reading and in prayer. At work,I try to meditate upon what I have read and learned.God help me to love and serve Him!

Camp in Wisconsin
I have Army Reserve weekend. To be safe I better not say the name of the base.Except for a brief visit in '90,it's been almost 20 years since I have been here. It's a pretty place with mixed forests on rolling hills. There are many trails too.The base has been modernized but there are many places where I have memories. Not much to report.I miss my 2 sons. The 3rd shift at work continues to drain and fatigue me.At least I can spend the quiet hrs w/ the Lord.Lately,Psa.37&38 have been very precious.Thurs.,I stopped at the Air Force base in Mpls and spent 2-3 hrs alone at the base chapel. The Lord must have worked it out as the door was open and lights were on but not a soul was around.I finished the last half of Deut.and then proceeded to Joshua until ch.5.When I came to the part of the theophany of the Lord Jesus Christ as Captain of the Lord's host,I actually wept.I prayed thru some Psalms as well.I remembered a number of things that Bill Gothard had taught in the Basic Seminar[this week from Mon.to Sat.at Straitgate Church].So many promises I tried to think of such as Phil.4:6,7 and then toward the end,at about 1800hrs,the Lord gave me a wonderful peace that I can't explain. It was so precious that I want more!I really want to be blessed of God and I want so very much for my family to be reunited in love and loyalty to the Lord.I pray this and I will continue because I know it is right:God commands us to love and forgive each other! If we do not do this we will NOT have his blessings and His punishment can continue to the children and the following generations.

My 47th birthday
Sat.,Oct.14,I turned 47!The clock of time is running fast[Psa.90:12].God help me to be a wise steward of whatever time I have left!1.Friday,Oct.13,was actually a very good day.I was asked to work an extra 6 hrs at the airport from Noon to 1800.I did OK even though I had only 4 hrs sleep in my car after the Midnite to 0600 shift.I drove to St.Therese where Dad and my dear sister Stephanie were waiting for me so we could go out for a birthday dinner. We chose the "Sunshine Factory" on Rockford Rd in New Hope. It's an expensive place but it turned out to be an excellent choice as the cuisine was superb, the decor nice and there was no rock music. We had some nice visits[mainly reminicing].The birthday gift I rec'd is secret but I want to say it was one of the best I ever had!2.Sat.,Oct.14,I drove 100 miles SW to the beautiful city of New Ulm.Settled by Germans 150 yrs ago I've always wanted to go there and I'm so glad I did as most of my ancestry is German. It was a beautiful Fall day and there was still alot of colors on the trees.I stopped to shop in the the city of St.Peter along the way and then arrived in New Ulm about 1330hrs[I should have started earlier!].I saw much of the town and listened to the "Oom-pah" bands that were playing for the Oktoberfest Celebration.I went up the large hill over-looking the city where the huge monument to the German warrior king,Hermann,is located.Very impressive view of the city nestled in the Minn.River Valley.I toured the nearby Martin Luther College campus nearby as well.Very nice campus. If only the Bible alone were used and believed there as the only authority!Must close! I'll write more about the weekend later as I had more nice experiances.I'm still looking for a decent job!

Snow Flurries
Colder weather, many of the beautiful trees are losing their beautiful colors.1.Con't frustration of being under-employed,losing money and awake nites[very hard on the body].2.Usual reading and radio.BBC/NPR has had many interesting news programs from around the world.3.Again,it's good to be with my Dad.Recently we watched a 2 hr special on the repressive regime in No.Korea.There was a secret video of people being executed before a firing squad!Their "crime" was simply helping others to leave the country.Other scenes showed people lying on the street who died from starvation.I know I should be grateful to God for His goodness to me and the USA.4.Church and fellowship has been fine and a blessing to me.

New Month of October
Beautiful Fall colors-how I would long for them to last! But like our lives we fade and our earthly bodies die.The seasons definitely teach us about the brevity of life.1.Still searching for a better job with not much in the way of prospects. With all my payments,I am losing a significant amount of money because of being under-employed.2.Going to the VA office at Ft.Snelling regularly to look for jobs[there right now].3.Every Mon.I am taking Dr.&Mrs.Buck up to the Bible Inst.in St.Cloud.The conversation and fellowship have been enjoyable.Like me they have travelled alot with their ministries[including 10 yrs in Africa as opposed to my 3 years there].4.Visiting Dad regularly.I hope and pray he will have more years and most important, that Dad will be saved.5.Enjoyed the brief time with my sons on Sunday.I waited 2 hrs for their mother to bring them on Sat.but she did'nt come and did'nt bother to call.I cannot understand how someone can be so un-ashamedly selfish and self-centered.Does the Lord Jesus Christ mean nothing to her? Why would she allow our precious sons to grow up loving this corrupt, sinful World[IJn2:15-17]?6.Missions Conf.last week was nice at Berean BC in Bkn Pk.7.Usual reading and praying[Col.4:2]
