Memorial Day weekend
It's Sat and I have today off but I must work Sunday.Life at my new work place on base[Troop Medical Clinic]is becoming routine but also with opportunities for medical studies.It's a pleasure to work in a building with windows!Today, i might be driving to Nashville[Indiana].I was there 3 wks ago and I enjoy the tourist/artist atmosphere.This morning I walked by the reservoir to pray and read.Three deer were inside the fenced compound.It's interesting to speculate how much they understand as the fenced area includes 2 large ponds and a smaller man-made one.As I walked close to the deer they actually came toward me[thinking there was no exit?]and as I came within 30 meter one panicked and tried to crash thru the fence! But he was un-hurt and of course deer and most wild animals are very resilient.I walked and read a biography on the famous actor Jimmy Stewart[I'm reading a half dozen books at once!].The day is beautiful so I better take off and enjoy it while I can!
