I am at the Edinburgh[Indiana]library.I was up early this morning to run and exercise.God's Word and my quiet time with Him were especially precious[esp-Psalm50:15].I finished Genesis again and have started Exodus according to my yearly goal of trying to read the Old Testament twice thru in a year and of course the new Testament many times.Lately,I've cut out many cards for memorizing Scripture,but only lately I've written down verses.This morning it was most of Proverbs5.What clear warnings God's Word gives! How I think back with bitterness and sorrow that I should have obeyed and trusted God so much more!Well,at least today I spent quality time with God with worship,praise,thanks and intercession.Dear reader,this is not time wasted! For Jesus Himself said that "Men[all]ought always to pray and not to faint"[Luke18:1].And Jesus succintly said,"Ask,and you will receive..."[Matt.7:7,8].I have spoke on prayer in messages to churches and I firmly believe in prayer[Heb.4:15,16].Today,the weather is beautiful.
