Bldg 333
It's almost 1900[7:00pm].I enjoy this old WWII era bldg to use the computor after work.often I get up before 0500 and listen to music and sermons via i-net broadcasting.Tonite a unit is pulling out quietly[as the custom].I'm glad a number of soldiers have rec'd God's Word and have gone to church.Briefly, the last half of my leave was really nice. After helping Sun.with the bus ministry I drove north Mon.to Ohio.I stopped in Greenfield for a short time. It's a pretty town,I stopped in an antique store that was very large[like a museum]and then visited the home of the 19th cent.Indiana poet James W.Riley.I travelled on to Dayton to visit the famous Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. After a good nite's rest at the AF Inn I drove to the huge internationally known US Air Force Museum.Wow! Was I impressed.I had a tremendous time seeing the exhibits and watching 2 Imax movies,"A Fighter Pilot" and "The Miracle of Flight" I'll have comment later but I can say in short it was a super time.I would have loved for my Dad,Mother and 2 sons to be with me.That afternoon[Tues,Apr.4]I headed back for Indiana via some country roads going north.I stopped at Taylor Univ.[New Evan.]about 2100.I found a secluded spot and slept in my car[blankets kept me warm and the seat can fold all the down to the back].Before 0500 I got up and walked around the silent campus.I watched a boy and girl enter a dorm together and was saddened at the thought of what might have taken place[and this is a Christian campus?!].Most of Wed I spent in Ft.Wayne at the very impressive "Lincoln Museum."I had an excellent time there.I'll have to save the rest for later!
