More in March
It's a quiet Monday evening in Bldg#333.There's alot of memories here as this was where we did vaccinations and blood draws, etc. Now all the cubicles/dividers have been taken out and the inside is one big room for welcoming/orienting Army units that come for processing.Yesterday went well.Later I will share details but in summary I had a good Sunday-Lord's Day at 2 churches. It's my desire to encourage area churches to minister here on base and pick up soldiers for church.I'm grateful to be able to do some visitation regularly but will have to save details for later as in this time in America I have to be careful in telling about my Christian walk. The last month I am really blessed to be able to listen to sermons on-line from different web sites.Oh,that has been a blessing!!! Early in the morning listening to good Christian music[Quiet time with God],then listening to a message. This morning I listened to Dr.Erwin Lutzer from historic Moody Memorial Church in Chicago preach on "Forgiveness." Wonderful message! Sermonaudio.com has been really been so edifying as well. The end of this week I hope to visit Mpls but I am not too excited as I don't even know if I will spend quality time with my sons[their mother won't even talk to me to just make simple arrangements!].How terrible it is to be in a state of disobediance to our Lord Jesus Christ[Who loved us and gave Himself for us!].Today I rec'd a copy of "The Bayonet" Augusta Military Acedemy's quarterly magazine.I spent one very interesting year at AMA,1974-75 as a young lad of 15.It was good to get news.I can't make it for this year's reunion but maybe another one in the future.Speaking of the future,I need to keep praying with much more ferver about what God's will for my life is.All I know is that life is so very short and I want to serve Him!
