Rain! Rain!
I can't get over how much rain Indiana gets!These past 2 years here have been blissfully wet.I like rain very much and so do my tomato plants outside from here in Bldg.333.Weather has cleared now and very humid amidst the midwest jungle.Last few days have been fine.1.Had chow about an hr ago[Italian cuisine].The mess hall Sgt.gave me a growl as he told me to put away my newspaper[USA Today]saying,"This is not the place to read the paper!" Oh,well[Psalm119:165].2.Just watched the "Jim Lehrer News Hr" I really enjoy Jim's approach to the news.My Dad likes him too.3.Speaking of Dad; he called me Sunday nite! Only twice in 2 years has he used the 1-800-# I've given him.I usually call him 2-3x per week.What a nice Dad I have! Even though his Alzheimer's can be a trial he still retains great long term memory.4.Listening to WCTS as I write.Praying about getting a good job back in Mpls when I return next month.Longing to be with my sons.Longing for my former wife to return completely to the Lord and understand how important marriage vows are[Eph.5:21-33].Just this a.m. I read in Mal.2:16 that God hates divorce.May Hosea2:6,7 be a reality in her life.5.Pastor Marc Monte called today.He just got back from a youth trip to Colorado.He mentioned that Baptist Heritage U is having some difficulties.6.Called Troy DeHart of Fellowship Baptist.They had an important mtg today.I pray the bus ministry will continue!Usual reading,emails,etc. I'm glad on my day off I can and should rise early[0500].
